Niccolo Machiavelli - The Prince

Niccolo Machiavelli's famous book The Prince is one of the first of modern political philosophy. The author describes ways for gaining and keeping political power.

His radical, recklessly utilitaristic views caused critics and even the prohibition of his work during parts of history.

Though it might be 500 years old, the book's theories haven't lost their relevance.
