Originally compiled as a City of Bartlesville work product, in 2020, the staff of the Bartlesville Area History Museum reprinted this two volume history into one book and greatly incorporated area photography to support the text, with an extensive index. This book details the arrival of the Osage, Delaware and Cherokee Tribes to a barely discovered corner of Indian Territory, through the development and happenings of two Caney River settlements which became the flourishing community of Bartlesville and other towns in Washington County, OK.
