This volume aims to present a gazetteer derived from the complete corpus of work on its sites - including that data which is available only on Lesbos itself - with the hope of facilitating further research. Also included are two appendices, one listing sites attested to in Hellenistic or Roman inscriptions, the second discussing the appearance and characteristics of the Lesbian polygonal' style of masonry.
