This charming and beautiful little story tells about the Sun, Moon and each of the planets in our solar system, including the new planets that were added in 2006 after the discovery of Eris, and shortly after that, the promotion of Ceres from asteroid to planet. Yes, ACS Publications publishes astrology books, but astrology is based on accurate astronomy. In this story's argument among the planets about whether they will be willing to accept the two newcomers into their group, the basic astrological meaning of each planet is revealed, but without ever mentioning astrology at all, other than briefly on the back cover. Finally, Sun steps into assert command of his solar system, and settles the argument so that all ends happily, as all fairytales should.
