Leonard L. LaPointe, Ph.D., received his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Colorado. He occupies an Endowed Distinguished Professor chair at Florida State University in Tallahassee.

He is on the faculty of the College of Medicine and the program in Neuroscience at Florida State. Dr. LaPointe has authored or co-authored 12 books, 40 book chapters, and more than 150 journal articles, as well as has presented 400 lectures worldwide.
