Dr. Dasgupta immigrated from India to the U.S. in 1980. He received his Ph.D. from Stanford University and his Fellowship training in Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology from the University of Washington at Seattle. Currently he is a Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston.
