Amazingly dark American epic which recounts the tales of the Glanton Gang and the horror which is mankind's capacity for violence.

McCarthy's unique lack of punctuation does not attempt to direct the reader to any particular point, rather it allows the reader to focus on descriptive elements of the story which appear more important. Giving each read through a unique feel as if critical information which shapes the characters is re-contextualised.

Bought the book just to force my friends to read it.
