I was just as torn as Rose in Blood Promise, being in Russia trying to fit in, not knowing whether to believe her lessons and try and move on or follow her scrambled mind and take the road to ruin. Blood Promise is frantic and a struggle and I couldn't stop reading, the story just continually gets better and better. I don't want to spoil the book for anyone so I don't want to give specific details, but I recommend this book. A lot is learned and lost in Blood Promise.

Rose's connection with Lissa is frayed as she doesn't think she fits her life anymore with the introduction of a new principal and his daughter Avery, who has seemingly slotted right into Rose's vacated best friend position. This is a must read.

I loved it! I love how she made it Russia and how her love was do strong for Dimitri that she went there to kill him, it made me laugh and cry and I even faked sick so I could read it (don't tell my mum)!it was definitely one of the best in the series

This book is not only the most amazing book in the Vampire Academy, but is by far the greatest book of all time. Blood promise is full of emotional up and downs. If I'm not laughing, I'm crying. There never seems to be a middle ground. The book tears your heart in different directions. Sometimes you want to have a bonfire and burn the book because its hurt you so much, yet other times you want to clutch it to your chest as you sob hysterically.

In simple words, I love this book. No matter how much it annoys me and makes me want to cry and punch something, the book is without a doubt worth it.

I loved this book especially the sexual tention that was always with Rose and Dimitri always put me on edge always waiting for them to hook up. When the academy was attacked i had my heart in my mouth through out the whole thing. I love they way how lisa and rose are inseparable and its just so awesome i will never get enough of these books

In Blood Promise we follow Rose to Russia on her quest to find Dimitri. Along the way we meet some great new characters, go through every emotion possible and then shake our fists shouting 'NOOOOOO!' at the end of the book. Definitely the most emotional of the series.

This book is the most heart-breaking of the entire series. Rose is forced to deal with one of her worst fears, could she kill someone she used to know? It truly is a heart breaker and brought me to constant tears through every chapter. It's amazing, enthralling and a beautifully tragic adventure for Rose and everyone she knows and loves.

Blood Promise is about Rose developing as a character and really making decisions for herself. This made the book extremely interesting because she has so many torturous decisions to make. The reader is taken on a journey with Rose and feels what she feels. This is something that is really hard for an author to do. Make a reader cry, scream and laugh. Richelle Mead has written it so perfectly. It is by far the best book in the Vampire Academy series. It is an amazing piece of Literature and should be read and re-read until the ink becomes old and too hard to read.

Blood Promise is the one book where everyone gets to see the true meaning and depth of Rose and Dimitri's love. The promise to save each other, no matter how bad the situation gets. This is why I was glad the book series stayed amazing, because this book was magical.

This book was my favourite out of the whole series! It will leave you into a blubbering, laughing mess! It leaves you on a cliff hanger that definitely makes you want to read more and the next book is just as amazing! Such a good book series and would recommend it to everyone.

An exciting installment to the VA series! After the intense conclusion of Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise explores more of the vampire world and its interaction with humans. The tension between Rose and Dimitri makes you yearn for what could have been, while Lissa's troubles back at the Academy as seen through Rose's bond keeps all the characters linked. The cliffhanger at the end of this book definitely kept me thinking about what would happen and all possible scenarios long after I put it down!

So I first began this novel with a heavy heart, knowing that my precious Dimitri was going to be a strigoi. During the novel, I was touched by the relationship between Rose and the Belikov family, and slightly curious about who Abe was. Sydney was a character who I began to adore, and Viktoria was just a kick ass girl who reminded me of Rose when the series first started. My heart went on a crazy emotional roller coaster when I read about Dimtri as a strigoi, and funny enough, I loved him the same way I loved him as a dhampir. Soon I found myself rooting for the idea of Rose to turn strigoi, so that she and Dimtri could be in love, for ever and ever! Overall this novel was my favorite in the series, the different settings brings colours to Dimitri's culture, and it really is a tragic love novel, which (I grantee) will leave you in tears.

Ok So the end of the third book leaves you wanting blood promise so badly i hardly need to tell you how awesome this book is for you to need it!. So we leave the academy?! and learn allot more about our favorite vampire world of Moroi, Dhampirs and Strogoi. Fall in love with Evil Dimitri (He is just as hot)
