Many contemporary societal issues have grown to be too complex to solve with traditional approaches. It is no wonder that design practices increasingly appeal to public organisations as a new and promising approach. But before we can make the collaboration between designers and public organisations a success, we have to acknowledge that there are vast differences between their approaches. Because if we don t, we will experience major upsets and often a disappointing impact. In this book, the author introduces the art of context building creating and maintaining the right context within public organisations for an honest, thorough and yet manageable design process.
