Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the rows surrounding Diana's younger son. Prince Harry, and the coronation of King Charles III, there is no better moment to explore Diana's legacy. Did the Royal Family learn lessons from her life, and the public's reaction to her death? Or has the Palace continued in the old ways, echoing mistakes made with her, from her first nervous royal occasions to her later defiance of traditional protocols? These and many other questions are explored in this authoritative book, written by two people closely associated with Diana: her police protection officer during the most turbulent period of her marriage, and the author chosen to write the official book about her. Diana: Remembering the Princess is an intimate and enlightening account of one woman's journey towards acceptance. Tragically, that journey ended in a tangle of twisted steel, broken glass and spilled fuel, a quarter of a century ago - but her legacy lives on, untarnished.
