Designed by a teacher for teachers and parents, this workbook teaches the young child to print letters Aa to Hh and see the connection of print, sounds, and words. Each letter is presented as an instructional unit, beginning as tracing, then copying and finally as independent use. Printing is integrated with reading and writing in fun activities which combine coloring, printing, and story dictation. Each page presents a doggy character who chats to the child about their work. It reinforces the fun and shows how print is used to communicate.
