Cat is a fire elemental in modern day Phoenix, AZ, working as a math tutor and waitress at a local strip club. She struggles to control her fire power which goes wild whenever she's angry. Her temper spikes when her ex-best friend Rafael moves back to down, but she finds comfort with Aspen, her high school boyfriend.Rafael is a water elemental who regrets his fall out with Cat. His water powers get out of hand when he's jealous, and seeing Aspen, a handsome earth elemental, get close to Cat constantly has him flooding the room. But Aspen has a plan: rebuild the burnt bridges between the two former friends, then see if the three of them can grow a stronger love together.
