This volume constitutes the fourth catalogue of the drawings in the John Paul Getty Museum's collection. It reproduces and describes all the works acquired by the Museum between 1995 and 1998, a period when the collection of French drawings was enhanced. The book is organized first by national school, then by artist, with works presented chronologically.
