I loved this beautiful book illustrated and written by Craig Phillips. Fairy tales of old but rewritten in the authors style which will have every reader hooked. The illustrations will want you to read these tales over and over with a few lessons to be learnt and good humour. Finn McCool is my favourite! Great to see comic style in children's books making a comeback, you and your children will enjoy this book for years to come.

I feel like I should be poetic and wordsmithy to help you make a descion here but I just used wordsmithy in a sentence so likely that attempt would fail, so I'll give it straight.
I love when I find the union of a great artist and writer but it's even better when they are one person, this book has that in Craig so I loved and appreciated this.

More importantly my kids eagerly anticipated the next story each night, we even made a Facebook review together for our friends. So for the people I don't know yet that want my opinion, Inhave two copies, one for the kids one for my collection of cool things.

Come Christmas time this will be my go to gift for nephews and nieces and birthday parties for the next few years. So yes, I rate this as a fine price of work, recommend it to you, and I look forward to whatever adventures Craig Phillips comes up with next. a.xo
