Before joining the magazine as a features editor five years ago, he wrote freelance for many publications, including the UK's Guardian, Observer, and Independent newspapers, and edited a book on quantum computing.

Rick Edwards is a writer and television presenter. His debut book None of the Above, which explained the political landscape in the UK, reached number 5 in the overall Amazon UK chart.
