This is an up-to-date study of the phenomenon of lightning electromagnetics. High-frequency behaviour of lightning currents has recently been a topic of intense study. This is a result of given advances in the electronic devices used in aircraft, new construction on nonconducting aircraft, better measurement techniques, the progress to combine lightning and other electromagnetic threats into a unified electromagnetic specification.
