Despite contacting customer service as soon as possible (was only able to get contact details after publicly posting dissatisfaction on A&R Facebook page) and providing photos of warehouse damage to gift box, no word from A&R. What was planned as a delightful gift for a new arrival became an embarrassing and frustrating (and EXPENSIVE!) online shopping experience. After deliberately choosing A&R because they are an Australian company, and ordering in plenty of time for Xmas delivery, I was so disappointed and saddened by the really poor customer service I received, I won't ever shop with them again (yes, I know they are probably just a brand name of some big organisation, of course). By contrast, I ordered an item from overseas (UK) and not only received it three days before the due delivery date, but in perfect condition AND in biodegradable packing. So terribly disappointed. Never again.
