Miguel's dark good looks and energy have also made him a television favourite. In Boys Weekend, on Channel 10, together with friends Gary Mehigan, Manu Feildel and Adrian Richardson, they hit the road for one weekend of adventure after another for good times and great food.
About the Author
From a family who lived and breathed good food and wine, Miguel Maestre destiny was pre-determined from a young age. He began cooking when he was 21, when he moved to Scotland to experience the world, and his progression was quick. He worked his way up through the ranks at Indigo Yard, Montpelier Partnership (the biggest monopoly of restaurants in Edinburgh) then came to Australia 6 years ago. Miguel passion for food and life is infectious, and he has developed a talent for incorporating Spanish ingredients and cooking styles into his modern Australian menus. In 2009 he opened his own restaurant, El Toro Loco (The Mad Bull) in Manly, Sydney, where he serves wonderful Tapas and amazing Paella. Miguel dark good looks and energy has also made him a television favourite.
