Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues played on the top high school team in the nation at Dunbar High School. After graduating from Wake Forest, he was selected 12 th overall in the 1987 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets and went on to play 14 years with the Bullets, Charlotte Hornets, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors. For seven years Muggsy led the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio. The shortest player in history, he helped lead the Hornets and Raptors to their first NBA playoff appearances. Since retiring from the NBA, Muggsy works on his Muggsy Bogues Family Foundation and as an ambassador for the Hornets.
