A chaotic body-swap comedy with hilarious illustrations that's sure to have young readers barking with laughter.

When Danny made a wish to stay home instead of going to a family wedding, he didn’t expect to end up trapped in the body of a dog! Now he's stuck with Mrs Grout who loves cleaning – and hates dogs. In fact, she hates them so much that Danny's sure she's got something horrible planned for him...

Meanwhile, Dudley the dog is off on the adventure of a lifetime. He might look like a normal ten-year-old boy, but he has no idea how to behave like one. Drinking from the toilet bowl, chasing cats and licking loved ones is a sure fire way to get into Very Big Trouble.

  • Easy-to-follow body-swap plot that will appeal to any child who wonders what life would be like as a dog.
  • Humorous illustrations packed with charm and character from Rikin Parekh, an illustrator with an exciting, growing profile.
  • Perfect for fans of Sam Copeland's Charlie Changes into a Chicken.

Caroline Green

Before she became a writer, Caroline Green was a journalist and Paddington Bear obsessive (although not necessarily in that order). She has written bestselling crime novels (writing as Cass Green) and award-winning fiction for teenagers.

Caroline lives in North London and teaches writing to both adults and children. There's a Dog in My Brain! is her first novel for younger children, in part inspired by the fact that she has an unusually good sense of smell (for a human).

Rikin Parekh

Rikin Parekh is a children's book illustrator based in North West London. He has two art degrees from Camberwell College of Arts and the University of Westminster.

His past jobs include working in a primary school and as a film production illustrator on monster movies. Rikin has a vast collection of comic books and comic art and he LOVES eating pizza ... any time, any place! Therefore, you could say Rikin was a match made in pizza heaven for Iguana Boy!
