NOMADS - they inhabit every continent yet have "no abiding city". Always on the move, they are often "invisible", unreached, despised and easily forgotten by settled citizens. This is the most comprehensive source of information on all the nonmadic peoples of the world. Not only for libraries or Bible college students, mission researchers and strategists, but for you: -maps to help you to locate these nomadic people groups, many of them unevangelizes -black-and-white photographs enable you to visualise them, and -people profiles and bibliographic data facilitate research. As you develop a new understanding of the political, agricultural, economic and cultural foundations of nomadic life you will praise the "God of nomads" for his rich diversity and work among these peoples - and even consider your own calling and priorities in life. With forewords by Malcom Hunter (SIM missionary among nomadic peoples for 40 years) and Stan Guthrie (News editor Christianity Today)
