Being a fan of the original works I quite enjoyed the spin-off that is "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". I found that you had to get into the headspace that no matter what, the story was going to be a little far fetched with the insertion of zombies into this famous classic. However, the attitude of the characters were quite enjoyable and although new bits and pieces were added and some endings for characters altered, it still stuck to the main storyline of the original book. The only complaints I had were that the characters had to be altered in order to inherit a warrior attitude and that some parts of the storyline were a little over the top. However, these "over the top" parts of the story could very well improve the plot in the eyes of other readers. The writing, overall, was conducted well with zombies being added in significant parts in some places of the storyline or background schemes in other places of the storyline and the zombies were mentioned consistently throughout. This book was overall an enjoyable read.
