This is an easy to read book which gives a descriptive insight to a period in time, commencing when Victoria was still a colony, and provides more information on the infamous "Breaker Morant Incident".
It allows the reader to arrive at a more informed decision on the justice or otherwise of the three men, members of the Bushvelt Carbineers, whose defence to the indefensible actions of the time was that they were merely following orders and were being made scapegoats as they were not British soldiers.
I highly recommend this read.
