An absolutely heartbreaking true story. This one will stay with you forever you can’t fully block it out. I wasn’t even born yet when Anita Cobby’s life was so cruelly taken yet I feel like I lost someone close to me. It beggars belief that they’re monsters lurking in the world that could do this to someone so harmless. You can just tell that Anita was a true beauty (not just on the outside either.) A sweet, caring woman that did not deserve what happened to her at all.

A great book to read but shocking at the same time, after reading it I was in just as much shock to think this could happen, it was almost like being alive at the time it was done and what happened to Anita hopefully never happens anywhere else in the world. Those 5 men, if you can call them men, were lucky Australia didn't have capital punishment in 1986 or I would have no doubt they would have swung for it.
