It’s Lucky Prescott’s first winter in the West, and if Miradero Mel, the town’s weather-predicting pig, is to be believed, it’s going to be one for the record books!

At first Lucky and her best friends, Pru and Abigail, can’t wait to see what kind of adventures they can have in the snow, but as the town prepares for the harshest winter in decades, their excitement shifts to concern for their horses and the rest of Miradero’s animals. Lucky’s wild stallion, Spirit, has a new foal in his herd.
