Susan Akass is the general editor of the 'My First' children's craft series, published by CICO Kidz, as well as the author of many popular reading scheme books and children's picture books. Susan is also a full-time primary school teacher. She is based in Bath.

Wes Magee is an award-winning author for children and adults. He has published six poetry collections for adults and more than 100 books for young readers, covering fiction, poetry, plays, picture books, and anthologies. His most recent book is Here Come the Creatures. Wes regularly makes author visits to schools, libraries, and festivals, where he performs his "Poetry Show" and gives writing workshops. He also gives talks at education conferences, tutors writing courses, and leads training days for teachers.

Narinder Dhami was born in Wolverhampton of an Indian father and English mother. She taught in primary schools for nine years but now writes full-time. Her other books include the novelisation of the film Bend It Like Beckham and the recently published Bindi Babes.
