I'm really enjoying experimenting with the protocols in this book

An entertaining and well written personal account of what the human body is capable of.



Ferriss makes mainstream the fascinating subculture of bodyhacking, illustrating with his own body as well as hundreds of others the massive effects small changes in diet and activity can produce.



The science behind each of the subjects is interspersed throughout the book for the curious. However these sections can be a little dry and are clearly marked. The author stresses that they are unnecessary on the whole unless your interests run in that direction.



Overall the book is quite enjoyable and should be read much like a buffet, with the reader choosing chapters to read as they find them interesting.

A fascinating insight into the science and thought at the forefront of human physiology, fitness training, weight loss, and body enhancement. Be warned, if you are a diet virgin, or lack basic knowledge of training and physiological principles you may find the science in this book a little much.



Although many of the ideas are a little extreme or exagerated, this is an engaging read, and should be taken as a book to open your mind and expose you to questions, not as a literal guide for any of the sections.
