The Jewish Museum Frankfurt presents The Female Side of God, based on numerous objects from cultural history and contemporary works of art.

In a close reading of these works, the exhibition catalogue introduces this hardly known and oftentimes even 'suppressed tradition'. Comprehensible descriptions of these visual representations of a female deity, which can be found throughout the centuries, alternate with five essays, resulting from an interdisciplinary symposium of the research association 'Religious Positionings'. A highly topical publication, comprising faith, science, and art.
