There's not much we can tell you about this without spoiling it, so all we'll say is it's a genre blending post-apocalyptic dystopian thriller that many will love, featuring a wonderful young protaganist Melanie who is sure to steal your heart. (And yes, there may well be zombies.)

Really loved the ending, too.

Apologies for the pun - couldn't help it.

The best speculative fiction uses out of the ordinary concepts to explore what it means to be human. The Girl With All The Gifts does just that.

The human race looks set to lose its fight for survival. Whether it can rise again, and whether it deserves to, is an interesting story.
