A self-taught photographer, filmmaker, writer, and public speaker, Pete McBride has traveled on assignment to more than 75 countries for the National Geographic Society, Smithsonian, Outside, Esquire, Microsoft, and The Nature Conservancy.

Recently McBride has focused his cameras on his backyard river, the Colorado. Four years and 1,500 river miles later, McBride produced a book, filmed three award-winning short documentaries, and hosted a PBS TV program.
