Cath Jones is a freelance children's author. She thinks inventing stories is the best thing ever. So far, she has published a picture book and early and reluctant readers. She tends to write quirky stories.

She loves sharing her stories with children and is happy to go into bookshops and schools to meet children and organise activities and workshops.

Dean Gray was born in Roehampton and currently based in South London.

He studied Graphic Design and takes a lot of inspiration from watching films, animations, browsing the Internet, collecting vinyl toys, kawaii culture and science fiction.

He has a character-driven approach to his work and is passionate about storytelling. The Ugly Duckling is his first book for Campbell.
