Purchased pre Christmas as a treat for myself.! since I love this period of history. This family emerged [. the Plantagenets ] took & held the throne of England for over 3 hundred years . Blood shed , hatred, sadness, revenge, lust for power at any cost, rivalry, murder, lies , distortion ,ruthlessness, manipulation, ongoing Wars of the Roses 1422--71, & the resulting loss of life & civil unrest... sounds familiar !! with the exception of blood shed & wars. Enjoying this medieval , literary purchase of mine immensely.
