This collection takes a refreshingly original approach to the phenomenon of the radical right. Most studies have tended to concentrate on particular movements in a single country, neglecting to a greater or lesser extent the international dimensions of right-wing extremism. By contrast, Merkl and Weinberg adopt a comparative perspective, concentrating on the revival of the right across a variety of countries.
