Michael Escoffier was born in 1970. He lives in Lyon (France), where he divides his time teaching, writing, and being a dad. He has written over 80 books for children, many of which have been translated worldwide.Roland Garrigue is a prolific children's book illustrator from Paris, France. He seeks inspiration from the work of Tomi Ungerer, Colin Hawkins, and Quentin Blake.

He attended art school in Strasbourg. He loves to draw fantastic universes and surreal situations, populating his books with characters from all walks of life - monsters, vampires, witches, pirates, aliens, children, and any other strange creatures he dreams up.

Kris Di Giacomo
