Jack Hartley is 22 years old, born and raised in Christchurch, New Zealand. Being an inquisitive person this led Jack Hartley to study at the University of Canterbury, Majoring in psychology.

His personal interest, fuelled by his recent studies, in mental health and mental health amongst youth especially gave birth to the story that would become All the Other Days.

Wanting to explore the issues and ideas around this topic through literature this book became an outlet to voice from a teenager’s perspective a very raw, realistic portrayal of the issues that young people face and the roles in which they have in shaping their lives.
