The Arabian Nights is a compilation of folktales and literary stories with origins dating back centuries. It tells the tale of Scheherazade, a clever young woman who tells captivating stories to her husband, King Shahryar, in order to postpone her execution. Each night, she leaves the king on a cliffhanger, making him eager to hear the rest of the story the next night, thus saving her life for 1,001 nights.
