We pick the story up whereby the main character Jack has revealed to his male Partner that he thinks he has been getting something from Aliens or Gods he hopes it is. His Partner Mike does not mock him and takes the situation very seriously when they go to the Crib one weekend and receive the horror vision of China attempting to invade New Zealand having parked their whole Navy in Auckland Harbour.

The men have a dilemma to solve as to whether to trust their own Government or take the information to America as they would be the only Nation likely to save the Kiwis if such an event did occur, but how to do this.

This book looks further into the relationships of the two couples and gives some stories whilst the four contend with child rearing. A change in their living situation does occur which turns out to suit the men and the women.

There is a visit from the Witches who are Jack's 3 sisters and that all comes with questions but the jist of the story is how do they contact NASA and how can they come across as sane human beings when what they are reporting could sound like utter nonsense but both men believed in what they were doing so the motivation to save the Nation was there and do they discover who this mysterious Aquarius man is – can they answer that question.
