Sushant Singh Rajput, best known as an actor in Hindi films, was also a theatre artist and a television actor. His widely appreciated role in TV soap opera 'Pavitra Rishta' earned him good name and fame. Sushant launched his film career with an impressive debut in 'Kai Po Che!' and that helped him get recognised as a star by the audience

Sushant Singh Rajput was born in Patna, Bihar on 21 January 1986. His father is a retired government official. Mitu Singh, one of his four sisters, is a state-level cricketer. Sushant was the youngest of the five siblings and spent most of his childhood in Maldiha village of Purnia district in Bihar.

Sushant started his career as a background dancer and performed at many Filmfare Awards events. It was there only that the casting team of Balaji Telefilms first noticed him and he started his career with a role in the show 'Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil'.

The cause of Sushant's death was ascribed to suicide and Mumbai Police kept on investigating the reasons behind the suicide. However, his family and fans kept on demanding a CBI investigation, as, according to them, Sushant was murdered under some conspiracy.

Next morning, the news of Sushant's former secretary's suicide was out in all newspapers. The name of Sushant also appeared in the news. That made Sushant still more upset. He called Mitu.
