The reason some people give a damn about life beyond their little comfort zone is because they can't help it. They were born that way. They have a sense of inner accountability that drives them to give a damn and do something about it. I believe God told me that I must use whatever power there is inside of me to try to help the desperate, poor people of the world get some of that money that governments routinely spend on their own selfish interests.

Voltaire, the French Enlightenment Era philosopher, said, "Every man is guilty of all the good he did not do." Be accountable for what you feel is good and right. If you're not, your life is a tragedy despite what delusions you live under.

Some people come to the conclusion that they must fight for goodness, justice and a clean planet based on experience. They see their community get trashed by a big corporation as in an oil spill or strip mining then realize something is wrong when greedy people poison the planet just to make money while leaving a bunch of dead animals, sick people and polluted land in their wake.

Most people seem to live in ignorant bliss, playing their video games, buying the latest fashions but the few of us in the know have no illusions about the water and air either running out or being poisoned beyond healthy levels so I am an activist, guardian and conservationist in my own way. I never use a dryer but I live with relatives who wear a piece of clothing once then put in the wash. There is no sense in me saying anything because they think I’m messed up and they’re normal. This I sthe world we live in.

We need a lot more people out there to see what's really goin' on then we can unite and change the world in a big way.

A group of people united can fight injustice, greed and exploitation but alone they can't because the people in power can easily destroy them.

The power of the people comes from uniting because they can't kill everybody. It would ruin their cash flow.

I went to the #323 section of the library looking for activist/ community empowerment books but I couldn't find any recent ones so I figured I would put together this activist handbook where I would offer nuts and bolts how-to information on how to get your point across in a world dominated by the mainstream media.

Your job as an activist is to both try to get the silent majority to open their minds about what's goin' on and try to get some of them to give a damn about your cause.
