I never thought I would experience so many emotions from a single book! I felt overwhelming awe at our one-ness with Jesus and the incredible meaning of life and joy that sprung from this awareness. As I read about the prayer chests and how prayers shape, simply thinking of someone or something has taken on a new meaning and being part of someone’s life has become a privilege. I love how this story encapsulates how God can turn anything around for the better, no matter the circumstances. I highly recommend this book; it truly opens your eyes in new ways to who Jesus is!

This true story gives hope to us all in the deep darkness of our present world. I found myself wanting to experience the other side of eternity, as did the writers and to feel the peace that comes from knowing that God is in control of the "seemingly" out of control circumstances that we all have. I want to know more of God's love and this book highlights His kindness and the deep joy that we can have by simply letting go of our own control and trusting that God's goodness is all that we need. I recommend this book to those wanting to experience their own miracles. If God can do it for Maria, he can do it for me.
