Compliance is Futile is an anthology of poetry about life, faith, love and struggle. Each poem is designed to tell a story or portray a character. This is poetry which is rich in imagery, metaphor and simile.

It contains poems which are designed to encourage, comfort and entertain the reader. Some of the writing draws on personal experience and some of it is pure make believe. But all of it is designed to make you feel something.

There are poems which are uplifting, magical poems, love poems, narrative poems and poignant poems. And it is poetry written for everyone, which sometimes breaks the rules. It is meant to draw you in rather than alienate you.

There are no moral messages or preachy platitudes. This is an expression of the imagination and it is meant to help the healing process in the only way that I know how - through writing.
