American bankers, oil executives, and manufacturers lust after the fertile plains of Ukraine, the oceans of oil beneath the sands of the Middle East, and control over the waters of the South China Sea. Not content with the domestic abundance at their disposal, they are willing to sacrifice thousands (if not millions) of young American lives on distant battlefields. In time, I am certain that their unchecked avarice and ambition will spell the ruin of our empire and the end of American independence.
