THE INNOCENT ARE SIMPLY THOSE WHO ARE BETTER AT BURYING THEIR SECRETS...

The murder of a wealthy family catapults Detective Albert Strom into an investigation where nothing is as it seems.

With the help of an unpublished manuscript, Albert might just find the clues he needs to solve the mysterious and incongruous crime... but then will time be available to him to find the truth...?

Layers of sinister secrets, hidden from prying eyes, are suddenly forced into the view of the public to reveal a city that is corrupted.

Buried writings of a troubled woman may be all that offers the truth in the mysterious and confronting Enigmatic.

Told in four perspectives of one event that will unfold the one truth for all involved...

"A thriller of well-written prose and excitement for lovers of great murder mysteries and suspense..." Henry, Indie Book reviewer

So fun! I want more of this kind of story telling. It felt like sneaking into someone’s hidden diary. So unique and fun and also traumatising

Besides a few little errors this book is hard to fault. The deep complex and well written characters become so imbedded in your brain that you feel like you’ve know them your whole life.

The story is complex and is narrated in an even more complex way. The story is deep on so many levels and touches on some really interesting topics and issues in the current world.

A giant achievement from a first time author. Absolutely looking forward to the authors next book

A few editing details that took me out of the story every so often, but definitely forgivable as the story itself is so well composed, reading it is like putting together a jigsaw puzzle when you have never seen the picture you’re trying to put together. If it wasn’t for these editing issues and a few chapters that seem to be cut short, this book would have been one of the best of 2024.
