Evolution is the title of the latest anthology from the Southern Ohio Writers' Collaborative, a theme that has made many of us think long and hard about what that means to each of us.

After all, species evolve, as do people. As women we certainly do: we go from little girl to teen, to young woman to wife and mother, to grandmother. Along the way, we may lose interest in some things, but develop new interests later. We fall in and out of love—sometimes we have that love taken from us. We may work outside the home—we may work from home. But everything that happens to us is part and parcel of what we are today.

Evolution is the eighth anthology the group has compiled.
