Steve has been gutted by the death of his parents, his sister has disappeared and is nowhere to be found, and the thought of attending another company Christmas party as a bachelor has Steve dreading the holidays. Looking for a date and maybe some companionship, Steve turns to the world of online dating. He quickly falls for a young woman he met named Alice but he is stood up once they agree to meet.
