Sandy said I had to stay alive.
The life we had is gone.
I am not sick, even though it seems everyone else – my friends, the people on the streets, the rich and powerful and poor and lost alike – is dead or dying.
It seems impossible, but it’s true: I am immune to the rapture virus, and civilization is crashing around me like a sandcastle in the surf.
Sandy said I had to stay alive so that someone remembers. I dare not lose hope. I cannot. I must not.
But here’s what I’m wondering . . .
What if there’s . . . only me?
If you’ve ever wondered if you could survive a world-ending pandemic, Firefly will take you on a ride you won’t forget.
