When Christianity, as a religious system, is put aside and the Bible read in the present as though seen for the first time, it becomes clearer that Jesus’s teaching/preaching aims to help individuals experience the inward transformational journey of self from the flesh to consciousness. In that state where doctrines and cultures don’t matter, it is readily obvious that Jesus Christ and other spiritual masters, notably Gautama Buddha, share commonalities, although had existed centuries apart. From Jesus to Christ explains the author’s personal opinion that Jesus Christ never intended to create a religion around his teaching. Christianity as a religious system was established at least a century after Jesus Christ died. While on earth, his teaching was largely from the Old Testament, and whose doctrinal foundations he shook continually with his revolutionary views. Hence, it is submitted here that the teaching of Jesus Christ advances a universal post-religious approach that individuals, religious and non-religious, from diverse ethnicities, times, and cultures are able to experience transitioning to the Godkind nature (consciousness), with minimal avoidable sufferings.
