Hetty gets married later in life to a younger man. They are happy until she finds herself older looking than her husband and decides that he should be free to marry a younger and more beautiful woman who could give him children. She fakes her death and flees, going to Canada, far away from her younger husband. This is a strange, inspirational, suspenseful romance, not to be missed.
