There's love in this novella, and an adventure or two, but at the heart of this is solid science fiction with more than just entertainment value.

Ani Bolles wants to belong, somewhere and to someone. Kira Adams wants honor and a chance at greatness. Mikol Collins wants to save his people from the greed of that is destroying the computers that allow them life on this planet. All three of them must deal with a little insurrection in the land before continuing their quest.

And it's no use wishing.
