A series of introductory lectures about passages from The Writings of Nichiren Daishonin (Jpn: Gosho) delivered by Daisaku Ikeda has been published in the Japanese newspaper Seikyo Shimbun since March 2011. Introducing short passages from the Gosho, he explains their meaning and helps readers to understand them in practical terms. This book categorizes his lectures into seven themes based on key concepts in Nichiren Buddhism, with Ikeda providing interpretations on the significant passages of the Gosho in today’s world and encouraging people living today.
